"A hauntingly beautiful voice balanced with confident guitar work and lyrics that plumb the depths of human experience and consciousness. Brē Paletta's songs give voice to the existential questions that many of us find ourselves asking when staring into the infinite starry sky."
Brē Paletta creates a sonic landscape that is both grounded and otherworldly—a sound she defines as Revelatory-Ethereal DarkHop Americana. Her music is an evocative blend of layered vocals and visionary lyrics anchored by a vitalic rhythm section. Featuring sinuous bass lines and dynamic percussion that shifts seamlessly between driving rock, hip-hop-influenced pockets, and atmospheric rolling toms, the ensemble moves through sprawling arrangements that blend the organic twang of indie-folk with the driving energy of melodic alternative.
From visceral, rhythm-heavy grooves to expansive, mythic choral releases, Brē and her ensemble, The Remnant, create a cinematic journey that keeps audiences entranced from the first note to the last.
A veteran of the Pacific Northwest music scene, Brē entered the industry in the early 2000s as a teenage lyricist for some of Portland’s most well-respected artists. Over the past two decades, she has fronted the beloved folk-pop band Rye Hollow, co-fronted the harmony-heavy alt-rock group The Sale, and served as a backup singer for NW legend Stephanie Schneiderman for over a decade. Her seasoned career has seen her share stages with iconic acts such as Tori Amos, Cowboy Junkies, and Nahko & Medicine for the People.
Brē’s musical output is inextricably linked to her lifelong practice as a painter. A creator since age five, she seeks to bring her vivid inner world to life with heavily saturated color, careful blending, and dramatic imagery that conjures a sense of wonder and magick. This same visionary lens informs her songwriting, turning each performance into a transformative exploration of ancient literature and personal truth.
Now based in Yamhill County, Brē continues to perform across Oregon, bringing her unique brand of "mythic" originals and reimagined covers to festivals, wineries, and storied venues like McMenamins Old Church.
Upcoming Releases
Activation: The EP (Summer 2026)
In the Summer of 2026, Brē will release her highly anticipated EP, Activation. Featuring tracks like "Journey of the Hero" and “Newly Born,” the record explores the mythic cycle of transformation. Drawing from the same resonant energy found in the titular track "Activation," the EP serves as a sonic awakening—a "lifting of the veil" that moves the listener through the threshold of self-discovery and into a state of higher awareness.
The Tower: Full Length Album (In Production)
Following the EP, Brē and The Remnant have begun recording their debut full-length album, The Tower. This collection represents a deep dive into the Gnostic pursuit of truth and the collision of inner and outer worlds.
Inspired by the radical energy of The Tower tarot card, the album explores the "lightning strike" of sudden, unavoidable change. It is a study in the necessary destruction of shaky foundations—from the personal illusions we maintain to the overarching, rigid power structures and "controllers" that dictate the collective path. With tracks like "Death Ritual," and “Scorpio Full Moon,” the music navigates the Jungian the process of primordial individuation: the radical rite of "dying to the old self" to allow the authentic self to emerge.
The Tower is a cinematic exploration of alchemizing personal challenges and identifying the intricate ways the world’s darker undercurrents manifest in our lives. It is a study in transmutation: the act of dismantling survival roles, removing the mask, and reclaiming one’s power through a fusion of raw, melody-driven arrangements, vitalic rhythms, and expansive, mythic soundscapes.
